This week we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday.

My mom made these for craft sale,
but could have the kids make a simple
version.  Made out of slices of a tree log

Elmer's glue in a circle on wax paper, kids ripped
tissue paper and put on the glue, wrote name on
tissue paper before putting it on the glue, put ribbon
in the glue and let it all dry for about 2 days
peeled it off the wax paper and was ready to hang
coffee filters cut into snowflakes, colored
with marker then squirted with a water bottle
